GO! Express & Logistics (Schweiz) AG was founded in 2006 by the former owners of NES AG, Marcel Tüscher and Giovanni Iorio-Esposito. Initially only active in the export and import sector, the strategy of the first sameday network operating throughout Switzerland was always pursued.
Today, the company has the first standardized transport network that makes it possible to supply the entire area of Switzerland several times a day. All HUBs and satellites are provided with fixed arrival and departure times for the line system, similar to a railroad station model. This means that consignments from partners and customers in Switzerland and abroad can be fed into the GO! system at the designated points at fixed times. This also benefits foreign and cross-border customers, who can feed consignments directly into the gateway satellite and pick them up. GO! is the only company in Switzerland that can carry out and deliver collections nationwide on the day the order is placed.
The GO! Head Office in Winterthur coordinates and controls all national processes in the network and ensures compliance with uniformly high quality standards. The link between all Swiss stations and thus the heart of the GO! system is a high-performance, browser-based IT solution that is linked to all Swiss customers. Both customers and partners can obtain all available data from our open system via API.
GO! Switzerland is aware of its role as a transportation service provider and therefore supports the reforestation and replanting of trees worldwide. In addition, GO! Switzerland has also set itself the goal of achieving a CO2-neutral balance sheet by 2025.
General information about the GO! EXPRESS & LOGISTICS
Founded in 1984 as a consortium of courier services, GO! is today the medium-sized quality leader in the CEP sector. The network concept has determined the company’s actions from the very beginning.
The individual GO! stations work independently to a large extent and therefore have the necessary scope to respond flexibly to local conditions and the individual needs of their customers. The GO! Head Office in Bonn coordinates the processes in the extensive network and ensures compliance with uniformly high quality standards. The central sorting center in Niederaula, Hesse, forms the link between all stations and thus the heart of the GO! system. The main transshipment base serves as a collection point and hub for all consignments that are not processed via one of the 6 regional transshipment centers. At the hubs, consignments are sorted and loaded according to the respective destination station.
