Am 24. Mai 2014 war es wieder soweit – Mitarbeiter-Day bei GO!
Obwohl sich die Fussballwelt für den Final der CL das gleiche Datum ausgesucht hatte, war der Anlass wie jedes Jahr sehr gut besucht. „Risotto vom Chef“ war das Motto und die Location eine Forsthütte bei Embrach. Wie schon leicht zu erahnen ist, wurden die Rudelführer tatsächlich auch gourmetmässig tätig und lieferten einen einwandfrei geniessbaren Safran Risotto ab. Dazu gabs Grilladen und Salate und die geistigen Höhepunkte wurden dann mit Bier vom Fass und Wein aus der Magnumflasche erreicht. Der Abschluss bildete nebst einer Käsevariation ein Dessertbuffet, dessen Inhalte von den MitarbeiterInnen selber produziert und mitgebracht wurden und wirklich keine Wünsche offen liess.
So war es auch beim Wetter – von Anfang bis Ende durchgehend regenfrei und mit angenehmen Temperaturen bis tief in die Nacht – Petrus hatte einen guten Tag für uns reserviert. Das ganze Team von GO! genoss den schönen, angenehmen und verbindenden Abend auch wenn sich der Eine oder Andere immer wieder krampfhaft mit seinem Handy ins Fussball-Finale einklinken wollte. Meist blieb es aber aufgrund einer schlechten Verbindung beim Versuch.
Das gemeinsame „pick and pack“ der Überreste und Hinterlassenschaften zeigte einmal mehr, dass die GO!-People nicht nur in guten sondern auch in schlechten Zeiten zueinanderhält und jeder dem anderen hilft. So verwundert es dann auch nicht, dass auch die Aufräumaktion in Expressgeschwindigkeit abgeschlossen war.
Zurück blieben nur positive Gedanken, eine saubere „Wiese“ und am nächsten Tag vielleicht die eine oder andere Erkenntnis, dass man im nächsten Jahr die Getränkefolge überprüfen sollte.
On 24th of May 2014 it was that time again – Employee Day at GO!
Although the football world had chosen the same date for the final of the CL, the occasion like every year was very well attended. „Risotto from the Chef“ was the theme and the location a forest cabin at Embrach. As is already easy to guess, the leader of the pack were actually gourmet moderately active and delivered a perfectly edible saffron risotto. There was grilled dishes and salads and the spiritual highlights were achieved with draft beer and wine from the magnum. The finale was, together with a selection of cheeses, a dessert buffet, the contents of which were produced and brought by the employees themselves and really left nothing to be desired.
So it was the weather – from beginning to end right through rain-free and pleasant with temperatures until late into the night – Peter had reserved a good day for us. The whole team of GO! enjoyed the beautiful, pleasant and joined the evening even if one or the other always wanted to desperately connect to the football final using his mobile phone. Usually it remained due to a bad connection while trying.
The common „pick and pack“ of remains showed once again that the GO!-People holding each other not only in good but in bad times and help each other. It is not surprising then that the cleanup was completed in express speed.
What remained were only positive thoughts, a clean „meadow“ and the next day maybe one or the other realization that you should check the beverage sequence next year.
